Prior to joining Bernhard Capital Partners, Charles (Chuck) was the President of PAE’s Global Mission Services business unit. In this capacity, Chuck led a business of approximately 18,000 employees who provided services in infrastructure, base operations and logistics, medical and engineering services, security, aviation operations and maintenance (O&M), space services, and test / training. Before joining PAE, Chuck served as the Senior Vice President at Vectrus where he performed similar roles with the addition of IT operations. Prior to this role at Vectrus, which spun out of Exelis in 2014, Chuck served as the Businesses Area Vice President and General Manager in the Mission Systems Division at Exelis.
Chuck retired from United States Army in 2012 at the rank of Major General, following 32 years of service. In his last active-duty role, he served as the Commanding General of Division West at Fort Hood, Texas, where he was responsible for training and validating Logistics, Signal, Security, Medical and Aviation units for global operations. Chuck earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, as well as Masters’ degrees in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, Business Administration from Long Island University, Physical Education from Indiana University and Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
